Calp Town Council launches the campaign to support the hospitality industry ""Let them cook for you" to encourage citizens to buy takeaway food in the town's restaurants and bars. This initiative is being launched after the resolution of the Conselleria de Sanitat (Regional Ministry of Health) came into force on 21 January, which provides for new measures against COVID-19 such as the closure of catering establishments unless they offer the service of food pick-up on the premises or home delivery.
The campaign will be disseminated through the municipality's social networks and, together with an infographic, will publicise the hotel establishments that offer a takeaway service in Calp.
"The hotel and catering industry need our support more than ever as they are going through a particularly bad time, so we need to use every possibility of help we can give them, no matter how small," said Calp Mayor Ana Sala.
