Demanding cycling route starting from Calpe and heading into the mountainous interior of the Marina Alta until reaching the spectacular surroundings of the Vall de Laguar. This route allows riders to discover some of the most authentic landscapes of the inland Costa Blanca, leaving the coast behind to ride along quiet roads surrounded by mountains and farmland.
Along the route, you pass through traditional villages in the valley such as Xaló, Orba or Benimaurell, where the Mediterranean landscape combines almond trees, olive groves and charming small towns. The climb towards the Vall de Laguar offers one of the most interesting sections of the route, with winding roads and open panoramic views over the inland valleys.
The Vall de Laguar is known for its impressive natural surroundings, located between mountain ranges and ravines that form one of the most characteristic landscapes of the province of Alicante. This valley, made up of small villages such as Campell, Fleix and Benimaurell, is a perfect place to enjoy cycling surrounded by nature.
