Cycling route starting from Calpe and heading towards the natural surroundings of the Sierra de Oltà, a small but spectacular mountain formation located very close to the town. The route allows riders to discover a landscape different from the coastline, combining sections of tracks and paths surrounded by Mediterranean nature.
As the climb progresses through the mountains, the surroundings become quieter and more natural, crossing areas of pine forests and Mediterranean scrub typical of this part of the Marina Alta. The Sierra de Oltà stands out for its rocky cliffs and for offering one of the best natural viewpoints of the Alicante coastline.
From its highest points, wide views can be enjoyed over the Bay of Calpe, the Peñón de Ifach and other nearby mountain ranges such as Bèrnia or the Montgó, making this area a perfect place to stop and enjoy the scenery.
