The Calpe Town Council will participate from February 13th to 15th in the Fiets en Wandelbeurs fair in Utrecht, one of Europe's leading events specializing in hiking, cycling, and nature tourism. Calpe's objective is to position itself as an active and sustainable destination in the Dutch market, a particularly important market for the municipality as it strives to reduce seasonality and achieve a high return on investment.
To this end, it will present the new campaign "Everything that's good is in Calpe," which promotes active, gastronomic, and cultural tourism during the autumn, winter, and spring months and is especially focused on tourists who choose destinations for sports, other activities, or enjoying nature.
Calpe will participate in this European event alongside Benissa within the Turespaña stand, under the auspices of the Costa Blanca Tourist Board.
The Fiets en Wandelbeurs fair in Utrecht attracts thousands of visitors and industry professionals annually (last year it brought together 25,000 attendees), becoming a key meeting point for destinations, tour operators and active tourism enthusiasts.
