As every summer, starting June 1st, Calp is reinforcing its visitor services with two beachfront tourist information points, complementing the services provided by the town's tourist offices.
The main change this year is the relocation of the Arenal-Bol beach information point from Plaza Colón to Calle Alemania, aiming to improve service and accessibility for visitors.
In addition, the old booth has been replaced with a new 15-square-meter module, constructed with thermal insulation materials to ensure greater comfort for both visitors and staff. The new facilities include two restrooms, one of which is accessible for people with reduced mobility, and two service counters, one of which is accessible.
The beach tourist information points will be open Monday through Saturday, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Both are located on the seafront promenades, next to the beaches, a strategic location that has traditionally been very popular with visitors.
This initiative strengthens tourist services during the summer season, offers personalized information about the destination's complementary offerings, and maintains direct contact with visitors.
These locations complement the Tourist Info offices that remain open year-round: the Tourist Info Center, located in Plaza del Mosquit in the heart of the old town, and the Tourist Info Peñón, located opposite the salt flats. Their main function is to provide up-to-date tourist information, guide visitors, and showcase Calpe's wide range of cultural, heritage, gastronomic, and leisure activities.
